We are planning our culture night, anticipating Heritage Week and excited to welcome all new and returning visitors to the quiet oasis planted right in the middle of Cork City.
If you haven’t been to visit us by now; don’t worry! We have only just been warming up with daily guided tours (at 11am and 3pm), maturing the wonderful grounds and stocking the arts and design shops on the site to capacity to keep everyone happy when they visit.
If you have not experienced the peaceful moments you can grab in the garden, or the tranquil respite that can be indulged at the wonderful water feature by the tomb then you are in for a treat that is something you can partake in seven days a week 10am-7pm.
Our beautiful gardens have plenty of space to picnic and sit to have a quiet moment and with the opening of the garden café in Autumn we are thrilled to think of all the people that will be able to enjoy the space for as long as they care to visit.
We have volunteers and Ambassadors on site only too happy to guide and escort you and your family around. We have plenty of literature to enjoy and discover such a wonderful and brave woman as Nano Nagle and the most important thing of all we have a revived space in the heart of a bustling city that has given an area a new lease of life, added a heartbeat where there was a space for one and given a new injection of interest and historical value to a beacon that only needed to be buffed to shine.
