November is our month of Remembrance at Nano Nagle Place.  We remember those who have passed through a display of crocheted hearts, uniquely created to celebrate the special differences of loved ones we so dearly miss. We celebrate their lives with a beautiful display of handmade crochet hearts mindfully placed on our remembrance tree in the beautiful garden at the centre of Nano Nagle Place. We also publish the name of your loved one along with your shared memory on our website for the month of November during this special remembrance.  

 

 

We understand how difficult grief can be and we hope this opportunity to remember your loved one, visually, on the remembrance tree will provide solace and a serene place to come and remember their legacy. We invite friends from near and far to participate in this unique tribute dedicated to those who are gone but not forgotten. In recognition of the many friends and sisters from all over the world who have deep connections to Nano Nagle, we hope our global community will appreciate this opportunity to be remembered at Nano Nagle Place, on our remembrance tree and also on a dedicated “In Memoriam” online.

 Our remembrance tree is a beautiful, mature magnolia with stunning dark green foliage and white flowers in early spring.

The handmade crochet hearts are created by our Crochet Ladies, lovely and talented participants in the Lantern Community Project. Each crochet heart is blessed by our Resident Presentation Sisters and displayed for the full month of November.
