Nano Nagle Place is on Douglas Street, two blocks south of the south channel of the River Lee.
To walk to us from Patrick’s Street walk along Princes Street, cross the South Mall, walk along Parliament Street and over Parliament Bridge. After crossing the bridge cross over George’s Quay and continue straight along Mary Street. You will find Nano Nagle Place at the end of Mary Street.
Driving to us is more complicated! Douglas Street is one way in front of Nano Nagle Place. The best way to approach is via from the direction of Barrack Street. You can also drive down Evergreen Road and take a sharp right onto Douglas Street from there. Please note we have no car park (they didn’t need them in the 18th century!). Please see our note about parking below.
Nano Nagle Place is open Tuesday- Sunday 10.00-17.00
It is free to visit Nano Nagle’s tomb, and the gardens.
Please do note that from January 2019 onward Nano Nagle Place will be closed on Mondays.

|Saturday & Sunday||11.00 – 16.00|
Our interactive heritage experience tells the story of 18th Century Cork, Nano Nagle’s inspiring work and the lives and work of the Presentation Sisters over time, and today. Children are our very special guests, just as Nano would have wanted. We work hard to make sure there are lots of things for younger visitors to see and do during a visit to the heritage experience.
Our heritage experience is designed to be self guided, but we run a guided tour at 15.00 every day. The guided tour includes access to extra spaces, the Artefact Room and Miss Nagle’s Parlour, both housed in the oldest building on our site. We aim to keep our guided tour to around 50 minutes in length. Afternoon tours are often given by a Presentation Sister. Please note, if you are a group of 10 or over we are happy to facilitate a guided tour outside these hours Tuesday-Friday – it is not necessary to come at 15.00, but you must book these tours in advance, please click HERE for more details

Some children find guided tours too long!
If you feel your children will enjoy a guided tour and will be able to pay attention to our guides then they are most welcome to be part of our tours.
Group rates are available for groups of 10 or over, visit our Group Tours page to find out more.
Please see our Group Tour page for more information about visiting as a group. We do not have coach parking but do have a coach set down and pick up point in front of the centre which can be used by prearrangement.
There is no parking available at our site … they didn’t have cars in the 18th century when Nano chose this place!
On street parking is available on Douglas Street and there is often parking during daytime hours on Evergreen Street.
