Friday 6th October, 20.00 – 21.00, Goldie Chapel
Cork Baroque Players swing through a madcap medley of seventeenth and eighteenth-century music, with a chance to learn some cheeky historic songs, dance a step or two, and learn the life-threatening art of the Baroque orchestra conductor.
Made up of some of Cork’s finest specialists in historically-informed music, the Cork Baroque Players bring the past to life in a tongue-in-cheek skim across the lighter sides of history. Discover music inspired by Jonathan Swift’s satirical tales, hear dances to cure a tarantula bite, and leave the present at the door for an evening of time-travelling amusement.
