An uplifting free concert in the stunning surrounds of the Goldie Chapel

Join us for a joyful celebration of choral music as part of the Cork International Choral Festival, featuring two outstanding UK choirs in the uniquely atmospheric setting of the Goldie Chapel at Nano Nagle Place.
First up, RockavoX, a high-energy community rock choir from rural Norfolk, brings their vibrant mash-ups and contemporary repertoire to Cork. Known for their playful style and heartfelt performances, RockavoX sings everything by ear, with all arrangements created by their musical director Tiggy. Expect surprises, smiles, and pure musical fun as they perform music by The Divine Comedy, Sam Ryder, The Beach Boys, and more.
Next, we welcome Voce Chamber Choir, a renowned London-based ensemble celebrated for their polished and passionate interpretations of both classic and contemporary works. Known for their versatility, from gospel to Rachmaninov, from Haydn to the Rolling Stones, Voce will share a beautifully curated programme, including an Irish premiere of Send the Angels Again by Jago Thornton.
This is a rare opportunity to hear two very different choral styles side-by-side in one of Cork’s most acoustically rich and intimate venues.
