About Our Participation
National Heritage Week at Nano Nagle Place is one of the most anticipated times of the year. We have put together an exciting line up of lectures and activities to help our friends, families and followers engage first-hand in Ireland’s rich history. With fascinating stories and artefacts from the Presentation Sister’s Archives, lessons in lace making, historical talks from Irish Folklore to Archaeology, engaging exhibitions exploring Cork’s history and heritage, genealogical discussions around the South Presentation graveyard, imaginative play in constructing a miniature shoe box museum, and workshops in biodiversity to interest the whole family, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Please check individual events on our website for booking requirements and for more specific information about our offerings throughout the week.

About National Heritage Week
National Heritage Week is an annual event we are delighted to take part in. It is an initiative by the Heritage Council that brings awareness to the value of heritage in support of it’s conservation.
