The concert features MTU Cork School of Music staff & students performing alongside poetry written by mentors of Cork Migrant Centre.
The event will touch on a vision of European identity in poetry and song, with intersecting themes of beauty, struggle, hope, and identity.
It is a moment to sit and reflect on who we are as individuals and the agency we have within our spaces of influence, acknowledging that
‘no man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. As such, our wellbeing is interconnected and our actions affect the whole, and therefore, we have a collective responsibility to each other to choose a future that is representative of our shared humanity.’
