In 2021 we are marking 250 years of convent life at Nano Nagle Place. As a site of living heritage, the continuity of the function of this place over time is as important as the survival of so much of the original fabric. This exhibition ‘not to make a noise about it’ pays tribute to the Presentation Sisters who still live and work here.
The exhibition features portraits of the sisters by photographer Clare Keogh, along with archival images of the sisters chosen to illuminate aspects of their lifes’ work. You can view the full photographic exhibition in our Map Room located in our Heritage Centre.
To compliment this exhibition a website has been created housing further portraits, along with interviews with the sisters where you can hear them talk about their lives and work in their own words.
