About National Heritage Week
National Heritage Week is an annual event we are delighted to take part in. It is an initiative by the Heritage Council that brings awareness to the value of heritage in support of it’s conservation. This year’s theme will emphasize the links between people and communities, exploring physical routes such as roads, paths, rivers, and canals, as well as cultural and natural connections that have shaped Ireland’s history and heritage. By participating, individuals and communities contribute to a broader understanding and appreciation of Ireland’s historical connections.
