Bio’s on Acts:

Ger Wolfe is a modern day troubadour, a singer, a songwriter and a poet who weaves beautiful melody around his word and rhyme, always delivered with a gorgeous voice and that totally unique finger-picking guitar style. As popular as ever on National radio, Ger’s song ‘The Curra Road’ has found its way into the hearts of many singers and listeners alike.

Mick Hanly is an Irish singer and composer from Limerick. In the 1970s, he formed several folk music duos, first with Mícheál Ó Domhnaill, then with Andy Irvine and, more recently, with Dónal Lunny. From 1982 until 1985, he was a member of Moving Hearts. His song,’’ Past the point of rescue’’ remained in the American charts for a long time when covered by Hal Ketchum.

The music of family trio Greenshine straddles the boundaries of contemporary, folk and roots and includes many self penned songs. It is these songs that have consistently held the top spot on RTE Radio 1’s Airplay chart. The band is known for their warmth and humour, striking harmonies and excellent musicianship on a variety of instruments including guitars, ukelele, mandolin and bouzouki. The release of the band’s third album FAMILY sees their star rise ever further.
